He probly couldn't fit them in on 1 picture So I was putting them all in alphabetical order and not even a quarter of the way I just knew that not all of the trucks were going to fit. So I just started to put as many as I could and of course put all of my Westerns. I have a little desk and I put a couple more there but I still have more than 50 boxed up. Damn you got quite a colection if thats barley a quarter..It'll be a site once there all on display

How much have I spent? I don't have an exact figure and don't want to get an exact figure. It's a hobby so I just buy whatever I like. Here's a hard to find truck, Pilot Travel Centers Pete 379 day cab tanker.

I finally got back from a nice vacation and I found this at my porch. It's the Eilen "Iron Outlaw" Pete 379 with a Mac End dump trailer. Don't mind the stacks, this truck is still bad a$$ I liked that DCP made a fifth wheel cover.

The Eilen's agreed on this truck so if it was a pos why would they sign off. Care to explain?

I would have gotten that truck if I could get passed those ridiculous pipes, they just look terrible. It's like trying to get passed a girl with a hot body and an ugly face with a huge nose.

Haha Like I said beside the stacks this is good looking truck. Just look on eBay, these things are selling like hot bread and for a good chunk of $. So people are looking beyond the crazy stacks like I did. I was going to pass on it too. Now I always see a lot of people complaining in other forums about this and that and I think it's getting a bit childish. The way I see it now being this deep in collecting these trucks is if you want DCP to make a perfect model, every single detail to be spot on, then put your money where your mouth is and go to DCP and let them build it.

I couldn't agree more. Now, is the 5th wheel cover removable? I still might get it and do something with the stacks.

It comes in the little bag with the extra mirrors. Trust me man get it while you can. The stacks is something you can fix. Just don't buy it from eBay. Look around as theres some dealers out there that still have them for less than $100 bucks.

Why do you think that the model was even made? Eilen had it done. They did sign off on it...More than likely because they were just tired of all the bs. Also dcp made a mess of this truck from the start. Some of them the flames are backwards on the fenders, the tall ass stacks, and plenty other reasons that make this a pos. Eilen did a great job with what they had offered to them.
Honestly tho, look at the deckplate and crap...It's half assed. Too square and the tail end just looks like shit. That is my opinion and nothing more or less. Like it or hate it.
Now this is a couple things I like...The fenders on the truck and trailer, 5th wheel cover.
Dcp's have gotten out of hand, high priced, china made ,junk.

Dat go look at the real trucks these trucks are made off of, and then come back. While I respect you collect these things, and your feelings for certain models, they should be more Realistic for the price you pay for them.

Thats very standard run...Much less shell out the money for a tooling like Eilen did...So my point is, the model should be alot more accurate.
Oh btw way...Ive been into Dcp's since they came out...I was collecting and following them when they didnt even have the 379s out yet.

Wow love your collection! Thanks! Dat go look at the real trucks these trucks are made off of, and then come back. While I respect you collect these things, and your feelings for certain models, they should be more Realistic for the price you pay for them. No need to do that. I drove trucks for a while and my father is still in the business as an O/O. And I might add that I'm still involve in this business pretty much 24/7 in brokerage and dispatching. Like I said I want the person that wants a perfect model to put their money where their mouth is. If you don't like it don't buy it. Simple as that. Look at the other manufactures like Spec-Cast, 1st Gear, Tonkin replicas DCP by far blows them out of the water. Now this is a couple things I like...The fenders on the truck and trailer, 5th wheel cover. Dcp's have gotten out of hand, high priced, china made ,junk. Thats your opinion and I respect that. On this truck the flames are all facing the right way. If you're going by the picture of the first model the flames from the passenger were facing the wrong way. Now Eilen could've just said no we don't want to do more runs but with this run they probably benefited.$$$

Dat go look at the real trucks these trucks are made off of, and then come back. While I respect you collect these things, and your feelings for certain models, they should be more Realistic for the price you pay for them. Just like model cars, they have their flaws too. Reason being is that they have already spent the money for the model molding itself, and there is no need to spend all the extra for the parts for each individual company. Like Crete's Cascadia for example, same as the other Cascadias, but if they spent the extra on a few minor over-looked details the price of the model would be twice as much as just buying a normal Cascadia. They don't want the prices on all of their models to be a huge difference to keep up the money for what they would spend on extra tooling. Take this for example www.cretecarrierstore.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=32451If they made that completely different according to detail than they did this www.awesomediecast.com/index.cfm/fa/items.main/parentcat/19137/subcatid/77458/id/527055There would easily be at least a $30 price difference.

You guys really need to research up on your dcps. Thats all I have left to say. I need to get some new pics of mine put up. Nah I don't need to. I'll buy whatever I want to buy. I'm not asking anyone for money. If I were then you have every right to tell me what models to buy and not. Now if these trucks were costing 2k-3k each then yeah I would maybe complain if it wasn't close to a real truck. But not really the case for a $60 truck. IMO.
